Google Forms are a great tool for collecting data, but sometimes there’s just not enough information to go on.
You may have formed a hypothesis and asked your students to complete a Google Form using a survey question, but then you have no idea where to go with the results.
Whether you want to know what your students think or what they don’t understand, there are two ways that you can view responses on Google Forms in 2022.
Reasons why you want to view answers on Google Forms
There are many reasons why you should want to view answers on Google Forms.
Four ways to view answers on Google Forms
I'm a big fan of Google Forms. I use them to host quizzes, conduct surveys and polls, collect information on events, and even obtain feedback on my work.
But there's a lot you can do with Google Forms that you might not be aware of. Here are four ways you can view answers on Google Forms:
How to get google form answers 2022 on Desktop
Step 1: Open the Google Form dashboard in your browser - On the first page that comes up when you search for Google forms, there will be a button labeled "Go To Forms." This is where you'll find your dashboard.
Once you click that link, you’ll be redirected to the Google Forms Dashboard, where users can manage all their forms or create new ones. But in order for them to do so, they must first log into their Google accounts.
Step 2: Pick the needed Google Form - Next, find and select the desired Google Form. To do so, scroll down to locate an existing form that may suit your purposes; when you've found one, click on it.
Step 3: Go to the form responses tab - When you click on the chosen form template, you will be redirected to a management tool that offers wide functionality for designing your form.
It also allows users to add a quiz question, multiple-choice quiz, or multiple-choice questions.
The Responses tab is located at the top of your Google Form. Clicking on it will display all responses to that particular form, as well as provide you with a variety of options for filtering them (for example, by date or by answer type).
Step 4: Download the answers on Google Spreadsheet - If you need to have a list with the response to any question, or if you need to present the results of a survey or get students' self-grading quiz scores—then generate an Excel spreadsheet.
You don’t have to right-click on the icons; all options are available in one place, so it's easy!
You will find a Green Google Sheets icon on the top right corner of the form. Clicking on this will redirect you to a generated Google Sheet where all your answers are listed together in one place.
To view all the answers saved on your desktop physically, you should click File in the top right corner and then Download.
How to get google form answers 2021 on Mobile
Step 1: Open Google Drive on your mobile - To check each answer to your quiz, you first have to open the Google Forms dashboard in a web browser.
But the simplest way to use Google Drive on your smartphone or tablet is through its dedicated app—available for iOS and Android devices.
Step 2: Find the needed Google Form - If you’re signed in your Google Account on your mobile phone, it will appear on your Drive from Google—and vice versa: if you access the form through this app, its data will be visible within that same application.
Scroll down until you find the desired Google Form; once selected, information entered into said document by way of both applications should remain consistent across all platforms.
Step 3: Click on the responses tab - The mobile interface for Google Forms is almost identical to the desktop version. To access the feedback of those who responded to your form, click on Responses under Submissions in the sidebar menu.
Individual responses will be listed by default, but you can also view results grouped by the question if that's what you're looking for:
just click "Grouped" from this same drop-down menu! If you click on the Question tab, you'll see a list of all responses people have given to your Google form.
Step 4: Download the spreadsheet - This step is optional and should be performed only if you want to download the response spreadsheet onto your device.
This will allow you to check all the responses offline—just click on the Google Sheets icon when prompted by Chrome.
To access the spreadsheet on your smartphone, click the Google Drive icon and tap Open in Sheets (if you don't see this option, it's not compatible with mobile devices).
Once saved to your device, open Sheets by clicking the three dots icon in the top right corner.

How do I see answers in Google Forms?
Google Forms is an amazing tool for gathering information from people you don't know and don't have personal relationships with.
It's a great way to get feedback on stuff you're working on, and it's especially useful when you need to get information from multiple people in one go.

How do students see answers on Google form quizzes?
While you can see the responses on your form, students cannot.
If you want to let students see the response, there are two ways to do so:
I prefer to share the responses because this way, I can still see all of them in one place, and they don't end up scattered across my classroom if they're viewing them on their own.
But if you'd rather have your students see them on their own devices, then that's an option as well!
So there you have it—two ways to view your Google Form responses.
As you can see, many ways to view responses on Google Forms exist. Each method has its benefits and drawbacks, so it's essential to know what those are before deciding which one to use.
If you want to get a general overview of all the answers, go for the first option. But if you want to dive deeper into the data, go for the second one.
Either way, you'll be able to see what your audience wants and needs easily, and you'll be able to use that information to make better decisions.
